Lambs Terrace Fire Company of Gloucester Township serves Lambs Terrace, Erial and Lake Land Complex communities as well as provide mutual aid to the surrounding fire districts. Our coverage area is approximately 9 square miles, has a resident population of approximately 40,000 and a daytime commerce and commuter population of over 100,000. Our diverse demography consists of residential complexes, rural areas, industrial areas and commercial districts, including several major shopping centers, seven public schools, one community college, and one of the busiest state highways in South New Jersey.
Lambs Terrace Fire Company is governed by two Board of Fire Commissioners, which provide funding for the township fire district through taxation. Our volunteers are supplemented by nine career personnel that compliments our company. Since 2005, we have seen a 50% increase in response activity with no sign of it letting up in the foreseeable future.
